Interestingly enough, local music that comes from single localities is lumped into the "world" category, although who can say exactly what is a "world" music? Just back from their European tour, perhaps it is Ajinai. Blending ethnic Mongolian singing and instrumentation with a history or several thousand years with modern rock, funk and reggae doesn't fit easily into any label, but you won't even be thinking about any of that when you listen to them because you'll be too busy jamming.
